When he's not digesting cinema (preferably low-budget), wasting time online, or otherwise embarrassing himself, Gabriel can be found working his way through a stack of music to review and taking breaks from the crushing futility of life with the help of comedy. Involved in a number of short-lived musical projects, he now sticks to annual Halloween shows with Mexican Space Train.

About what you'd expect from a modern NDH album, but without much flair to distinguish it in years to come

Timeworn – Leave the Soul for Now

On their third studio album, the Norwegian five-piece of Timeworn deliver a mix of hardcore and post-metal; hardcore with the vocal route of yelling,...

Rainbows Are Free – Head Pains

A fun, tripped-out album with plenty of variety keeping its retro flavors feeling fresh
